Açaí Bowl

An Açaí nice cream bowl – Is it time yet?

As our favorite childhood chant goes: “Açaí scream, you scream, we all scream for açaí cream!” Ok, so maybe that wasn’t quite it. But once you get a taste of this refreshing, delicious and healthy alternative to ice cream, you’ll be cheering for more.

Ingredients

½ cup each of frozen mango, blueberries, & strawberries 
¼-½ of a frozen banana
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp Açaí powder
A splash of nut milk to keep the blender going 

Directions

Essentially we’re making a thick smoothie, so…
Put all ingredients in a blender and get it going on high. It will take some time for all those frozen pieces of mango, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas to get blended well together.

When the mixture is smooth, spoon into a bowl and get creative…
Top your Açaí bowl with your favorite toppings: Maple syrup, homemade granola, goji berries, coconut flakes, and more fruits if you want.
